A story of bringing Alaska home…

The other day a wonderful cruise ship passenger stopped by our booth at the Kodiak Art market, and we had the best conversation about Alaska and her home. She had just returned from crossing the Arctic Circle and seeing the sea ice on summer solstice!

Days later, her order arrived with a note. We wrote back, of course! There’s something magical about the connection through notes about candles and favorite places.

It’s heartwarming knowing when she lights one of our candles, she’s back in Alaska.
